Battery, Range, and Charging
The battery has a gross capacity of 65.0 kWh and a net usable capacity of 60.0 kWh, with a 5.0 kWh buffer (7.7%) for battery protection. With a nominal voltage of 352 volts, the system is classified as a 400-volt battery system.
The lithium-ion battery uses NMC (nickel manganese cobalt) chemistry.
Under the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) standard, the maximum rated range is 450 km (280 miles). Depending on the configuration and options such as wheel size, the rated range can be as low as 429 km (267 miles). Larger wheels generally increase energy consumption and reduce range.
WLTP energy consumption is 13.3 kWh/100 km for the base configuration and 14.0 kWh/100 km for the highest-consumption configuration.
For more details about the range, see real-world data and range listings on this model’s range and consumption page.
The vehicle supports fast DC charging with a maximum power of 130 kW. A 0–100% charge takes approximately 74 minutes. A typical 10–80% session takes about 38 minutes at an average power of 67 kW.
With five minutes of overhead per stop, the optimal charging window is 1–43%. Effective average power, including overhead, is 71 kW over a session lasting about 21 minutes and 9 seconds.
In a 1000 km challenge at a constant speed of 120 km/h (75 mph) with an assumed consumption rate of 19.9 kWh/100 km, the trip would take about 10 hours and 18 minutes, needing six charging stops from 1% to 40%, totaling 118 minutes of charging time.
Onboard Charger
The standard onboard charger supports AC charging at up to 7.2 kW. A full 0–100% charge takes about 8 hours and 20 minutes with a suitable home charging setup.
An optional 22 kW onboard charger reduces the full charge time to approximately 2 hours and 43 minutes.
Charge Port
The charge port is conveniently located on the right front side, facilitating easy access at charging stations where you park parallel to the charger.
Connector types vary by market: this model uses CCS Combo 1 in North America and CCS Combo 2 in Europe. For complete specifications for all markets, refer to the full specifications.
