The battery has a gross capacity of 150.0 kWh and a net usable capacity of 143.0 kWh, with a 7.0 kWh buffer (4.7%) for battery protection. The battery operates at a nominal voltage of 800 V, supporting high-power DC charging.
The lithium-ion battery uses LFP technology, which has different characteristics from typical NCA and NMC batteries.

The vehicle supports fast DC charging with a maximum power of 700 kW. A 0–100% charge takes approximately 39 minutes. A typical 10–80% session takes about 12 minutes at an average power of 506 kW.
With five minutes of overhead per stop, the optimal charging window is 6–72%. Effective average power, including overhead, is 368 kW over a session lasting about 15 minutes and 23 seconds.

The standard onboard charger supports AC charging at up to 22 kW. A full 0–100% charge takes about 6 hours and 30 minutes with a suitable home charging setup.

Drivetrain
The YangWang U7 EV Super 4WD has an all-wheel drive system with four motors, one for each wheel.
Suspension
The suspension system features a double wishbone front construction and a multi-link rear construction. Both the front and rear dampers are electronically controlled. The front and rear springs are coil springs.
The suspension is fully adaptive on the front and rear axle, so height and damping can be adjusted manually and automatically.
The minimum ground clearance is 120 mm, and the maximum is 120 mm.
The Active Suspension keeps the car's body nearly horizontal during braking, steering, and acceleration.
Normally, cars lean outward in corners. However, the active cornering dynamics can counteract this roll, or even overcompensate, making the car lean into bends like a motorcycle.
The Easy Entry function raises the car's body automatically when a door is opened, facilitating easier entry and exit. Once the door closes, the body returns to its previous level.
For easier loading, you can lower the air suspension from the rear.

Progressive steering is standard on the YangWang U7 EV Super 4WD. It adjusts the steering ratio according to vehicle speed.
In addition, rear-wheel steering is standard, reducing the turning circle at low speeds.
Drive Modes
The YangWang U7 EV Super 4WD lets the user select different drive modes that affect the car's handling.
The driver can choose between 5 modes:

Regenerative braking works in two ways: through one-pedal driving, or through the brake pedal using blended braking while coasting.
The system stops the car completely using friction brakes.Drivers can also adjust the regenerative braking strength when lifting off the accelerator, choosing between two levels.
The maximum regenerative braking power is 400 kW.
