Performance

The high-capacity battery has a gross capacity of 82 kWh and a net usable capacity of 77 kWh, providing an 5 kWh buffer (6.1%) for battery protection. With a nominal voltage of 350 volts, the system is classified as a 400-volt battery system, aligning with industry standards.

The vehicle supports fast DC charging with a maximum power of 135 kW. Charging from 0% to 100% takes approximately 62 minutes, while a more typical charging scenario from 10% to 80% takes 35 minutes with an average charging speed at 94 kW. Considering an additional 5 minutes for each charging stop due to driving interruptions, the optimal charging range is from 2% to 43%. This results in an effective charging speed, including time lost, of 101 kW, with each charging session taking about 19 minutes and 43 seconds..

In a theoretical 1000 km challenge, starting with a full battery and maintaining a constant speed of 120 km/h (75 mph) under ideal conditions with an assumed consumption rate of 21 kWh/100 km, the trip would take approximately 9 hours and 40 minutes. Onboard charger

The location of the charge port is on the right rear side. This location makes it easy to use charge stations where you need to back up into the charger. Drivetrain

Another option is the Regen on Accelerator Pedal mode where regenerative braking is activated when the driver eases off the accelerator pedal. This system allows the vehicle to slow down and recover energy without the driver needing to press the brake pedal, a feature often referred to as one-pedal driving.

You can select from multiple wheel options in different sizes on the SKODA ENYAQ RS, allowing you to customize your vehicle to suit your style and driving preferences. The available tire and wheel combinations include:

• 235/45 tires on 21" rims front and 255/40 tires on 21" rims rear

The car has four regular doors and a liftgate.

There is only one roof for this model. The standard roof has a panoramic roof. The glass extends most of the roof, and occupants can open the front part. This glass makes the car’s interior feel more spacious and bright, which can improve the mood and comfort of the occupant. It has an electric curtain that occupants can use to protect against the sun.

The windows from B-pillar and back are tinted, which enhances privacy and reduces glare and heat from the sun, making the interior more comfortable for passengers.

There is one climate system available. The 3-zone Climatronic climate system supports different temperatures in three zones for the driver, passenger and backseat. This model has a heat pump as standard. This heat pump can save significant energy that the EV would use for heating in cold weather.

Comfort

SKODA ENYAQ RS has several features to make your life as a driver or passenger more comfortable.

Keyless entry allows access to the car without needing to find the key. As long you bring it with you, the doors open.

Keyless go makes it possible to start the car without using the key.

User interface and control

The SKODA ENYAQ RS has twin screens with information for the driver and passengers. Behind the steering wheel is a digital instrument cluster mounted on the steering wheel column, and on top of the dashboard is an infotainment screen. The screen on the steering column is 5.3 inches large. The touch screen on the dashboard’s center is 13.0 inches large. The cargo capacity in the trunk is 585 liters. With the rear seat down, it is 1710 liters. On the roof, you can load up to 75 kg (165.3 lbs). The maxium weight of the car is 2750 kg (6063 lbs), and with the base weight of 2176 kg (4797 lbs), you can max load 574 kg (1265 lbs), including driver and passengers. Some options can increase the base weight and reduce the maximum loading weight.

You can order the car with a towbar. The maximum total weight on a braked trailer is 1200, and on unbraked, it is 750 kg (2646/1653 lbs).
