Alternative Models
The Lotus Eletre alongside these alternatives:
Performance
The Lotus Eletre delivers a maximum power of 450 kW (612 hp / 604 bhp) and a total torque of 710 Nm (524 lb-ft). It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 4.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 258 km/h (160 mph).
Battery, Range, and Charging
The battery has a gross capacity of 112.0 kWh and a net usable capacity of 109.0 kWh, with a 3.0 kWh buffer (2.7%) for battery protection. The battery operates at a nominal voltage of 800 V, supporting high-power DC charging.
The lithium-ion battery uses NMC (nickel manganese cobalt) chemistry.
Under the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) standard, the maximum rated range is 600 km (373 miles). Depending on the configuration and options such as wheel size, the rated range can be as low as 535 km (333 miles). Larger wheels generally increase energy consumption and reduce range.
WLTP energy consumption is 18.2 kWh/100 km for the base configuration and 20.4 kWh/100 km for the highest-consumption configuration.
For more details about the range, see real-world data and range listings on this model’s range and consumption page.
The vehicle supports fast DC charging with a maximum power of 367 kW. A 0–100% charge takes approximately 51 minutes. A typical 10–80% session takes about 20 minutes at an average power of 225 kW.
With five minutes of overhead per stop, the optimal charging window is 1–68%. Effective average power, including overhead, is 189 kW over a session lasting about 23 minutes and 8 seconds.
The Lotus Eletre supports high-power DC charging.
In a 1000 km challenge at a constant speed of 120 km/h (75 mph) with an assumed consumption rate of 29 kWh/100 km, the trip would take about 9 hours and 19 minutes, needing three charging stops from 3% to 59%, totaling 59 minutes of charging time.
Onboard Charger
The standard onboard charger supports AC charging at up to 22 kW. A full 0–100% charge takes about 4 hours and 57 minutes with a suitable home charging setup.
Charge Port
The location of the charge port is on the left front side. This location makes it easy to charge stations where you park side into the charger.
Connector types vary by market: this model uses CCS Combo 1 in North America and CCS Combo 2 in Europe. For complete specifications for all markets, refer to the full specifications.
Drivetrain
The Lotus Eletre features an all-wheel drive system powered by two motors, one on each axle.
The motors used are Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors.
Suspension
The Lotus Eletre features a double wishbone front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension, both with electronically controlled dampers and air springs.
The suspension is fully adaptive on the front and rear axle, so height and damping can be adjusted manually and automatically.
The minimum ground clearance is 165 mm, and the maximum is 225 mm.
Normally, cars lean outward in corners. However, the active cornering dynamics can counteract this roll, or even overcompensate, making the car lean into bends like a motorcycle.
The Easy Entry function lowers the car's body automatically when a door is opened, facilitating easier entry and exit. Once the door closes, the body returns to its previous level.
For easier loading, you can lower the air suspension from the rear.
Steering
Progressive steering is standard on the Lotus Eletre. It adjusts the steering ratio according to vehicle speed.
In addition, rear-wheel steering is standard, reducing the turning circle at low speeds.
Drive Modes
The Lotus Eletre lets the user select different drive modes that affect the car's handling.
The driver can choose between 4 modes:
- Range: Comfort steering and throttle.
- Tour: Balanced steering and throttle.
- Sport: Dynamic steering and throttle.
- Track: Heavier steering effort and dynamic throttle response.
Brakes
You can choose between different brake systems.
The Lotus Eletre is equipped with cast-iron disc brakes on both the front and rear.
Brake option one uses ceramic discs.
Regenerative Braking
Automatic regeneration is not available in this model. However, regenerative braking is available through one-pedal driving combined with blended brakes.
However, it is not considered full one-pedal driving since, at low speeds, the vehicle will keep rolling until it comes to a stop by itself.Drivers can also adjust the regenerative braking strength when lifting off the accelerator, choosing between three levels.
The maximum regenerative braking power is 120 kW.
Exterior
The Lotus Eletre, with dimensions of 5105 mm in length, 2019 mm in width, and 1630 mm in height, falls into the Full-size SUV segment.
The Lotus Eletre is available in 2 paint colors, including several metallic finishes.
The Lotus Eletre offers multiple wheel options in different sizes. The available tire and wheel combinations include:
- 255/50 tires on 20" rims front and 285/45 tires on 20" rims rear
- 275/40 tires on 22" rims front and 315/35 tires on 22" rims rear
Narrower wheels reduce energy consumption and can increase range, while wider wheels can improve traction and handling.
The car has four regular doors and a liftgate.
Soft close is optional on the side doors.
The power liftgate includes hands-free opening by foot gesture as standard.
There are two different roof options to select from.
A conventional roof is standard.
As an option, you can order this model with a large panoramic roof extending over most of the areas from the front to the rear. This glass creates a more spacious and bright interior. The glass has an electrochromic function that lets you blend the glass in multiple levels to protect against the sun.
The windows behind the B-pillar are tinted for privacy and to reduce glare and solar heat gain.
