Performance
The HiPhi Z 5 Seater delivers a maximum power of 494 kW (672 hp / 663 bhp) and a total torque of 820 Nm (605 lb-ft). It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 km/h (124 mph).

Battery, Range, and Charging
The battery has a gross capacity of 120.0 kWh and a net usable capacity of 113.0 kWh, with a 7.0 kWh buffer (5.8%) for battery protection.
The lithium-ion battery uses NMC (nickel manganese cobalt) chemistry.
According to the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) standard, the vehicle's range is 555 km (345 miles), with an energy consumption rate of 20.4 kWh/100 km (3.1 mi/kWh).

The vehicle supports fast DC charging with a maximum power of 150 kW. A 0–100% charge takes approximately 94 minutes. A typical 10–80% session takes about 48 minutes at an average power of 98 kW.
With five minutes of overhead per stop, the optimal charging window is 4–48%. Effective average power, including overhead, is 101 kW over a session lasting about 29 minutes and 30 seconds.
In a 1000 km challenge at a constant speed of 120 km/h (75 mph) with an assumed consumption rate of 28 kWh/100 km, the trip would take about 9 hours and 59 minutes, needing four charging stops from 5% to 42%, totaling 100 minutes of charging time.
Onboard Charger
The standard onboard charger supports AC charging at up to 11 kW. A full 0–100% charge takes about 10 hours and 16 minutes with a suitable home charging setup.
Charge Port
The location of the charge port is on the right rear side. This placement makes it easy to use charging stations that require backing up to connect.

Bidirectional Charging
This model supports V2L (Vehicle to Load), allowing you to power electrical equipment requiring up to 3500 kW of power, and even charge other electric vehicles.
Drivetrain
The HiPhi Z 5 Seater features an all-wheel drive system powered by two motors, one on each axle.
The motors used are Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors.
Suspension
The HiPhi Z 5 Seater features a double wishbone front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension, both with electronically controlled dampers and air springs.
The suspension is fully adaptive on the front and rear axle, so height and damping can be adjusted manually and automatically.
The minimum ground clearance is 150 mm, and the maximum is 200 mm.
The Easy Entry function lowers the car's body automatically when a door is opened, facilitating easier entry and exit. Once the door closes, the body returns to its previous level.
For easier loading, you can lower the air suspension from the rear.
Steering
Progressive steering is standard on the HiPhi Z 5 Seater. It adjusts the steering ratio according to vehicle speed.
In addition, rear-wheel steering is standard, reducing the turning circle at low speeds.
Drive Modes
The HiPhi Z 5 Seater lets the user select different drive modes that affect the car's handling.
The driver can choose between 4 modes:
- Eco: Light steering effort and comfort-oriented throttle response.
- Comfort: Balanced steering and throttle.
- Sport: Dynamic steering and throttle.
- Custom: Custom steering and throttle.
Brakes
The HiPhi Z 5 Seater is equipped with cast-iron disc brakes on both the front and rear.
Regenerative Braking
Automatic regeneration is not available in this model. However, regenerative braking is available through one-pedal driving combined with blended brakes.
However, it is not considered full one-pedal driving since, at low speeds, the vehicle will keep rolling until it comes to a stop by itself.Drivers can also adjust the regenerative braking strength when lifting off the accelerator. There are four levels of regenerative braking to choose from, allowing you to customize the driving experience to your preference.
The maximum regenerative braking power is 150 kW.
Exterior
The HiPhi Z 5 Seater, with dimensions of 5036 mm in length, 2018 mm in width, and 1439 mm in height, falls into the F-segment, also known as luxury cars.
The HiPhi Z 5 Seater is available in 6 paint colors, including several metallic finishes.
You can select from multiple wheel designs, all available in the same size, on the HiPhi Z 5 Seater. The available tire and wheel combinations include:
- 255/45 tires on 22" rims front and 285/40 tires on 22" rims rear
The car has two regular doors in front, suicide doors on the second row, and a bootlid in the rear.
Soft close is standard on the side doors.
Powered side doors are standard.
There is only one roof option for this model.
The standard roof has a large panoramic roof extending from the front to the rear. This glass creates a more spacious and bright interior.The glass is toned to protect against heat from the sun.
The windows behind the B-pillar are tinted for privacy and to reduce glare and solar heat gain.

This model features a single-screen layout, consolidating all driver and infotainment functions into one central display.

A standard head-up display projects key driving information—such as speed and navigation cues—onto the windshield.

Steering Wheel
The HiPhi Z 5 Seater is equipped with a single type of steering wheel:
The steering wheel adjusts for tilt and reach. The adjustment is electrically powered.
The standard easy-entry function retracts the steering wheel automatically when entering or exiting the vehicle.

Lights
The standard headlights use LED Matrix technology. LED Matrix is an adaptive system that splits the traditional single headlight beam into dozens of smaller rays that the light controller can turn on and off individually. It includes corner lights that illuminate the side when turning. The LED headlights feature multiple LED segments, allowing you to customize your preferred daytime running light (DRL) signature.
The taillights use LED technology.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
The HiPhi Z 5 Seater offers standard and optional advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Safety Systems
Anti-lock Braking System (ABS): Standard on the HiPhi Z 5 Seater. It prevents the wheels from locking during braking.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC): Standard on the HiPhi Z 5 Seater. It improves stability during sudden maneuvers and on slippery roads.
Lane-Keeping Assist (LKA): Standard on the HiPhi Z 5 Seater. It applies steering corrections if the vehicle begins to leave its lane.
The Lane Departure Warning alerts the driver if the vehicle begins to leave its lane.
Front Cross Traffic Assist (FCTA): Standard on the HiPhi Z 5 Seater. It detects traffic crossing ahead when entering an intersection or pulling away from a stop.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA): Standard on the HiPhi Z 5 Seater. It detects vehicles approaching from the side while reversing out of a parking space or driveway.
Forward Collision Warning (FCW): Standard on the HiPhi Z 5 Seater. It warns the driver of a potential frontal collision.
Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB): Standard on the HiPhi Z 5 Seater. It applies the brakes automatically if the driver does not respond to an imminent collision.
Blind-spot Monitoring (BSM): Standard on the HiPhi Z 5 Seater. It detects traffic in the vehicle's blind spots.
Exit Warning: Standard on the HiPhi Z 5 Seater. It warns occupants not to open a door when it detects approaching traffic or another hazard.
Driving Automation
The standard HiPhi Pilot SAE Level 2 system includes the following driving automation features:
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Lane Centering Assist (LCA) / AutoSteer: Centers the vehicle in its lane and adjusts speed in traffic. The driver must keep their hands on the steering wheel and remain attentive.
- Navigation-guided driving: Follows the planned route, including highway entry and exit.

Safety
The HiPhi Z 5 Seater is equipped with the following airbags:
- Front airbags for the driver and front passenger

The HiPhi Z 5 Seater includes the following security and access features:

Cargo Capacity and Towing Ability
The trunk offers a cargo capacity of 316 liters (11.2 cu ft). With the rear seat folded down, this expands to 684 liters (24.2 cu ft).
The frunk (front trunk) has a capacity of 40 liters (1.4 cu ft).
The maximum permitted vehicle weight is 2950 kg (6504 lbs), and the base curb weight is 2548 kg (5617 lbs). This leaves a payload of 402 kg (886 lbs), including occupants. Options can increase curb weight and reduce payload.
This model is not available with a towbar and cannot tow a trailer.
