The Audi Q6 e-tron performance delivers a solid performance with a maximum power of 240 kW (326 hp / 322 bhp) and a total torque of 485 Nm (358 lb-ft). It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 6.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 210 km/h (131 mph), making it competitive within its class.

Battery, range, and charging

The high-capacity battery has a gross capacity of 100 kWh and a net usable capacity of 94,9 kWh, providing an 5,1 kWh buffer (5.1%) for battery protection. Operating at a nominal voltage of 662 volts, it qualifies as an 800-volt battery system. This high voltage is pivotal in enabling the system’s charging capabilities. This Lithium-Ion battery utilizes NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) technology.

Under the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) standard, the vehicle’s range varies between 641 to 556 km (398-346 miles), depending on the specific configuration and options, such as wheel size. Larger wheels, for instance, can increase energy consumption and subsequently reduce the overall range. The vehicle’s energy consumption is rated at 14.8 kWh/100 km for the base model and 17.1 kWh/100 km for the top-tier model under the WLTP test cycle. The vehicle supports fast DC charging with a maximum power of 270 kW. Charging from 0% to 100% takes approximately 57 minutes, while a more typical charging scenario from 10% to 80% takes 20 minutes with an average charging speed at 196 kW. With this upgrade, you can achieve a full charge from 0 to 100% in just about 4 hours and 18 minutes at home.

Charge port

The location of the charge port is on the left rear side. This location makes it easy to use charge stations where you need to back up into the charger. Drivetrain

Audi Q6 e-tron performance has a rear-wheel drive system supported by one motor on the rear axle. The motors used are Induction Motors at the front axle and Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors at the rear axle.

Suspension

The Standard suspension has steel springs with a fixed height, but you can adjust damping to fit your driving style or road condition. The ground clearance with this suspension is 184 mm.

You can order Audi Q6 e-tron performance with an alternative Adaptive Air Suspension suspension. The front suspension and rear suspension is Multilink. It uses air suspension and hydraulic dampers. The suspension is fully adaptive on the front and rear axle, so height and damping can be adjusted manually and automatically. The minimum ground clearance is 185 mm, and the maximum is 224 mm.

Steering

Drive modes

The Audi Q6 e-tron performance lets the user select different drive modes that affect the car’s handling. The driver can choose between 7 modes:

Brakes

The rear and front brakes are cast-iron discs. The front discs are 375mm, and the rear discs are 350mm.

Regenerative braking

The regenerative braking system in this model offers several modes to enhance efficiency and driving experience. The most efficient option is the Automatic Regeneration Mode, where the vehicle coasts when possible and employs regenerative braking to reduce speed as needed.

Manual regeneration is another mode, where regenerative braking is controlled by pressing the brake pedal. The brake system blends in physical brakes only when necessary.

Another option is the Regen on Accelerator Pedal mode where regenerative braking is activated when the driver eases off the accelerator pedal. This system allows the vehicle to slow down and recover energy without the driver needing to press the brake pedal, a feature often referred to as one-pedal driving. This model offers three stopping modes for one-pedal driving:

• Hold mode brings the vehicle to a complete stop using friction brakes
• Roll mode allows the vehicle to roll until it stops naturally
• Creep mode moves the car forward at low speed

Additionally, you can adjust the strength of the regenerative braking when you lift your foot off the accelerator. There are two levels of regenerative braking to choose from, allowing you to customize the driving experience to your preference.

Climate system

There is one climate system available. The 3-zone climate system supports different temperatures in three zones for the driver, passenger and backseat. This model has a heat pump as standard. This heat pump can save significant energy that the EV would use for heating in cold weather.

Comfort

Audi Q6 e-tron performance has several features to make your life as a driver or passenger more comfortable.

Keyless entry allows access to the car without needing to find the key. As long you bring it with you, the doors open.

Keyless go makes it possible to start the car without using the key.

The steering wheel is electrically adjustable.

You have an ’easy entry’ function for the driver seat that moves the seat to make it easier to enter the car.

You have wireless charging for your phone.

User interface and control

The Audi Q6 e-tron performance has multiple integrated screens. Behind the steering wheel is a digital instrument cluster. In addition, there is one infotainment screen in the center console and one infotainment screen in front of the passenger seat. The touch screen behind the steering wheel integrated into the dashboard is 11.9 inches large. The touch screen at the top of the center console is 14.9 inches large. The touch screen in front of the passenger in the dashboard is 10.9 inches large. A head-up display is an optional system that presents speed and other important driver information in front of the driver on the windshield.

This model is equipped with voice control as standard. The voice control lets you control some functionality through voice commands.

Infotainment

You can choose between two sound systems on the Audi Q6 e-tron performance. With the Audi Sound System, you get five speakers with a max system output of 200 watts. With the Bang & Olufsen Sound System, you get 20 speakers with a max system output of 830 watts.

In addition, with the standard in-car navigation system, you get the help you need to find your destination. Furthermore, the Audi Q6 e-tron performance supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This functionality allows you to present your phone’s screen in the car’s screen so you can run apps like Google Maps or Waze.

The model has 2 USB-C connections as standard. As an option, you can get additional 2 USB-C connections.

Lights

You can choose between two types of headlights for the Audi Q6 e-tron performance. The standard headlights use LED technology. Headlights based on LED Matrix technology are available as an option. LED Matrix is an adaptive system that splits the traditional single headlight beam into dozens of smaller rays that the light controller can turn on and off individually to un-light small areas in front. Safety systems

The Audi Q6 e-tron performance has an anti-lock braking system (ABS) as a standard system. This system helps to prevent a vehicle’s wheels from locking up during braking.

The Audi Q6 e-tron performance has an Electronic Stability Control as a standard system designed to improve a vehicle’s stability and handling during sudden maneuvers or slippery road conditions.

The Audi Q6 e-tron performance has a lane-keeping assist as a standard system. This system helps to prevent the car from getting out of its lane. In addition, it has a lane departure warning system that warns the driver if the vehicle leaves the driving lane.

Driving Automation

The Audi Q6 e-tron performance offers driving automation on level 1 or 2, depending on the equipment level.

With the level 1 system, you get the following driving automation features.

• Adaptive Cruise control
• Automatic parking. (optional)

With the Adaptive Cruise Assist level 2 system, you get additional driving automation features to the ones listed above.

• Lane Centering Assist (LCA) /AutoSteer: keeps the car in your lane and slows down if needed in traffic. The system limits how long you can drive without touching the steering wheel.

Cargo Capacity and Towing Ability

The cargo capacity in the trunk is 526 liters. With the rear seat down, it is 1529 liters. On the roof, you can load up to 75 kg (165.3 lbs). Roof rails are optional on this model. Roof rails make it easy to mount a roof box or rack to the car. Under the hood, there is frunk with more storage room. This frunk is 64 liters (2.3 CU FT). The maxium weight of the car is 2815 kg (6206 lbs), and with the base weight of 2200 kg (4850 lbs), you can max load 615 kg (1356 lbs), including driver and passengers. Some options can increase the base weight and reduce the maximum loading weight.

You can order the car with a towbar. The maximum total weight on a braked trailer is 2000, and on unbraked, it is 750 kg (4409/1653 lbs).
