Battery, Range, and Charging
The battery has a gross capacity of 140.0 kWh and a net usable capacity of 134.0 kWh, with a 6.0 kWh buffer (4.3%) for battery protection. With a nominal voltage of 370 volts, the system is classified as a 400-volt battery system.
The lithium-ion battery uses NMC (nickel manganese cobalt) chemistry.
The vehicle's range, according to the CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) standard, is 822 km (511 miles).
The energy consumption is 16.3 kWh/100 km based on the CLTC standard test.

The vehicle supports fast DC charging with a maximum power of 250 kW. A 0–100% charge takes approximately 83 minutes. A typical 10–80% session takes about 39 minutes at an average power of 144 kW.
With five minutes of overhead per stop, the optimal charging window is 6–52%. Effective average power, including overhead, is 142 kW over a session lasting about 26 minutes and 5 seconds.
In a 1000 km challenge at a constant speed of 120 km/h (75 mph) with an assumed consumption rate of 28 kWh/100 km, the trip would take about 9 hours and 22 minutes, needing two charging stops from 4% to 59%, totaling 63 minutes of charging time.
Onboard Charger
The standard onboard charger supports AC charging at up to 11 kW. A full 0–100% charge takes about 12 hours and 10 minutes with a suitable home charging setup.
Charge Port
The charge port is on the left rear side. This position suits charging bays where the vehicle reverses toward the charging point.

Bidirectional Charging
This model supports V2L (Vehicle to Load), allowing you to power electrical equipment requiring up to 3300 kW of power, and even charge other electric vehicles.
Drivetrain
The Zeekr 009 ME Edition features an all-wheel drive system powered by two motors, one on each axle.
The motors used are Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors.
Suspension
The Zeekr 009 ME Edition features a double wishbone front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension, both with electronically controlled dampers and air springs.
The suspension is fully adaptive on the front and rear axle, so height and damping can be adjusted manually and automatically.
The minimum ground clearance is 162 mm, and the maximum is 192 mm.
The Easy Entry function lowers the car's body automatically when a door is opened, facilitating easier entry and exit. Once the door closes, the body returns to its previous level.
For easier loading, you can lower the air suspension from the rear.
Drive Modes
The Zeekr 009 ME Edition lets the user select different drive modes that affect the car's handling.
The driver can choose between 5 modes:

Regenerative Braking
Automatic regeneration is not available in this model. However, regenerative braking is available through one-pedal driving combined with blended brakes.
The system stops the car completely using friction brakes.Drivers can also adjust the regenerative braking strength when lifting off the accelerator, choosing between three levels.
The maximum regenerative braking power is 200 kW.

Soft close is standard on the side doors.

A fixed panoramic glass roof covering most of the roof area is standard and makes the cabin feel brighter and more spacious. Tinted glazing helps reduce solar heat entering the cabin.
The windows behind the B-pillar are tinted for privacy and to reduce glare and solar heat gain.

The Zeekr 009 ME Edition is equipped with a single type of steering wheel:

Lights
The standard headlights use LED Matrix technology. LED Matrix is an adaptive system that splits the traditional single headlight beam into dozens of smaller rays that the light controller can turn on and off individually. It includes corner lights that illuminate the side when turning. The LED headlights feature multiple LED segments, allowing you to customize your preferred daytime running light (DRL) signature.
The taillights use LED technology.
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
The Zeekr 009 ME Edition offers standard and optional advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Efficiency Assist: A Standard feature that helps drivers anticipate driving conditions and conserve energy.

Anti-lock Braking System (ABS): Standard on the Zeekr 009 ME Edition. It prevents the wheels from locking during braking.

Blind-spot Monitoring (BSM): Standard on the Zeekr 009 ME Edition. It detects traffic in the vehicle's blind spots.
Driving Automation
The standard Zeekr Pilot SAE Level 2 system includes the following driving automation features:
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Lane Centering Assist (LCA) / AutoSteer: Centers the vehicle in its lane and adjusts speed in traffic. The driver must keep their hands on the steering wheel and remain attentive.

Safety
The Zeekr 009 ME Edition is equipped with the following airbags:

The front and rear seatbelts are equipped with pyrotechnic pretensioners and load limiters. In the event of a collision, the pretensioners tighten the seatbelts to secure occupants firmly in their seats, while the load limiters allow a controlled amount of webbing to extend, reducing the risk of injury from excessive force.
Security and Access Technologies
The Zeekr 009 ME Edition includes the following security and access features:
- Keyless Entry and Start: Unlock and start the car with the key in your pocket or bag.
- Phone-as-Key Functionality: Use your smartphone as a digital key to unlock and start the vehicle.
- Alarm System: Monitors for unauthorized entry or tampering and sounds the alarm when triggered.

Cargo Capacity and Towing Ability
The trunk offers a cargo capacity of 376 liters (13.3 CU FT). With the third-row seat folded down, this expands to 2979 liters (105.2 CU FT).
The maximum roof load is 100 kg (220.5 lb).
The frunk (front trunk) has a capacity of 32 liters (1.1 cu ft).
The maximum permitted vehicle weight is 3400 kg (7496 lbs), and the base curb weight is 2830 kg (6239 lbs). This leaves a payload of 570 kg (1257 lbs), including occupants. Options can increase curb weight and reduce payload.
This model is not available with a towbar and cannot tow a trailer.

The Zeekr 009 ME Edition had its world premiere on 4/14/2021, with deliveries starting in October 2021.
