Performance

The Zeekr 001 Performance AWD packs an impressive punch with a maximum power of 400 kW (544 hp / 536 bhp) and a commanding total torque of 686 Nm (506 ft-lb). This high-performance machine can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in just 3.8 seconds, and it reaches a top speed of 200 km/h (124 mph), making it a standout in its class.

Battery, range, and charging

The electric vehicle features a high-capacity battery with a gross capacity of 100 kWh and a net usable capacity of 95 kWh, providing an 5 kWh buffer (3.6%) for battery protection. This Lithium-Ion battery utilizes NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) technology.

Under the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) standard, the vehicle’s range is 590 km (367 mi). The consumption is 16.1kWh/100km for the WLTP standard test. For more details about the range, see real-world data and range listing on this model’s range and consumption page.

The vehicle supports fast DC charging with a maximum power of 200 kW. Charging from 0% to 100% takes approximately 61 minutes, while a more typical charging scenario from 10% to 80% takes 29 minutes with an average charging speed at 140 kW. Considering an additional 5 minutes for each charging stop due to driving interruptions, the optimal charging range is from 4% to 55%. This results in an effective charging speed, including time lost, of 133 kW, with each charging session taking about 22 minutes and 52 seconds..

In a theoretical 1000 km challenge, starting with a full battery and maintaining a constant speed of 120 km/h (75 mph) under ideal conditions with an assumed consumption rate of 28 kWh/100 km, the trip would take approximately 9 hours and 44 minutes. This journey would require four charging stops from 5% to 54%, with a total charging time of 84 minutes.

Onboard charger

For level 1 and level 2 AC charging, the onboard charger supports up to 11 KW charging. As a result, you can charge the battery 0-100% from home in about 8 hours and 38 minutes.

Charge port

The location of the charge port is on the left rear side. This location makes it easy to use charge stations where you need to back up into the charger. Drivetrain

Zeekr 001 Performance AWD has an all-wheel drive system supported by two motors, one on each axle.

The front suspension is double wishbone, and the rear suspension is Multilink. It uses steel springs and hydraulic dampers. The suspension has a fixed height and damping. The ground clearance with this suspension is 174 mm.

Brakes

The rear and front brakes are cast-iron discs. The front discs are 482mm, and the rear discs are 457mm.

Regenerative braking is available through one-pedal driving combined with blended brakes. Automatic regen is not available in this model.

Exterior

You can choose between 4 different paint colors when ordering this model.

The car has four regular doors and a hatchback-style liftgate.

There is only one roof for this model. The standard roof has a large panoramic roof extending over most areas from the front to the rear. This glass makes the car’s interior feel more spacious and bright, which can improve the mood and comfort of the occupant. The glass is toned to protect against heat from the sun.

The windows from B-pillar and back are tinted.

Interior

The seat layout is the traditional five seats with two in front and three in the rear.

First row seats

Only one front seat type is available in the Zeekr 001 Performance AWD.

The following functionalities are available on the standard seat.

Second-row seat

Climate system

There is one climate system available. The climate system supports different temperatures in two zones for the driver and passenger. This model has a heat pump as standard. This heat pump can save significant energy that the EV would use for heating in cold weather.

Comfort

Zeekr 001 Performance AWD has several features to make your life as a driver or passenger more comfortable.

Keyless entry allows access to the car without needing to find the key. As long you bring it with you, the doors open.

Keyless go makes it possible to start the car without using the key.

The steering wheel is electrically adjustable.

You have wireless charging for your phone.

User interface and control

The Zeekr 001 Performance AWD has multiple integrated screens. Behind the steering wheel is a digital instrument cluster, and in the center console, there is one infotainment screen at the top of the center console. The screen behind the steering wheel integrated into the dashboard is 8.8 inches large. The touch screen at the top of the center console is 15.4 inches large. A head-up display is a standard system that presents speed and other important driver information in front of the driver on the windshield.

This model is equipped with voice control as standard. The voice control lets you control some functionality through voice commands.

Infotainment

One type of sound system is available for the Zeekr 001 Performance AWD. With the Yamaha Sound System, you get eight speakers with a max system output of 200 watts.

In addition, with the standard in-car navigation system, you get the help you need to find your destination. Furthermore, the Zeekr 001 Performance AWD supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This functionality allows you to present your phone’s screen in the car’s screen so you can run apps like Google Maps or Waze.

The model has 3 USB-C connections as standard. The model has 1 USB-A connections as standard.

Lights

The standard headlights use LED Matrix technology. LED Matrix is an adaptive system that splits the traditional single headlight beam into dozens of smaller rays that the light controller can turn on and off individually to un-light small areas in front. In addition, the standard taillights use LED technology.

Advanced driver assistance systems

The Zeekr 001 Performance AWD has several standard and optional advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for better safety and comfort.

Efficiency Assist is a standard system that helps drivers to drive preemptively and save energy.

Safety systems

The Zeekr 001 Performance AWD has an Electronic Stability Control as a standard system designed to improve a vehicle’s stability and handling during sudden maneuvers or slippery road conditions.

The Zeekr 001 Performance AWD has a lane-keeping assist as a standard system. This system helps to prevent the car from getting out of its lane. In addition, it has a lane departure warning system that warns the driver if the vehicle leaves the driving lane.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert is a standard driver assist system that uses sensors to detect approaching vehicles from the side when backing out of a parking space or driveway.

Forward Collision Warning is a standard driver assist system to help drivers avoid or mitigate frontal collisions.

The Zeekr 001 Performance AWD has automatic emergency braking as a standard system. This system helps prevent or mitigate collisions by applying the brakes autonomously if the driver fails to react to an impending collision.

Driving Automation

With the Pilot Assist level 2 system, you get the following driving automation features.

• Adaptive Cruise control
• Lane Centering Assist (LCA) /AutoSteer: keeps the car in your lane and slows down if needed in traffic. The system limits how long you can drive without touching the steering wheel.

Cargo Capacity and Towing Ability

The cargo capacity in the trunk is 539 liters. With the rear seat down, it is 1411 liters. On the roof, you can load up to 100 kg (220.5 lbs). Under the hood, there is frunk with more storage room. This frunk is 32 liters (1.1 CU FT). The maxium weight of the car is 3080 kg (6790 lbs), and with the base weight of 2335 kg (5148 lbs), you can max load 745 kg (1642 lbs), including driver and passengers. Some options can increase the base weight and reduce the maximum loading weight.

You can order the car with a towbar. The maximum total weight on a braked trailer is 2000, and on unbraked, it is 750 kg (4409/1653 lbs).
