Performance

The Zeekr 001 FR has a maximum power of 930 KW (1264 hp/1247 bhp). The total torque is 1200 nm (886 ft-lb). It performs the 0-100km/h sprint (0-62mph) in 2.02 seconds. The top speed is 280 km/h.

Battery, range, and charging

The battery has a gross capacity of 100kWh and a net capacity of 95kWh, meaning you have a 5kWh buffer for protection. (5.0%). The Lithium-Ion battery uses NMC technology.

The maximum DC charging speed is 200kW. A full charge from 0 - 100% would take 57 minutes, while a more common scenario of 10-80% would take 27 minutes. If you assume you lose 5 minutes driving per charge stop in addition to the charge time, the optimum charge area is from 4% to 58%, resulting in an actual charge speed, including time loss, of 134kW. Each charge session would take 23 minutes and 54 seconds.

For the theoretical 1000km challenge, starting with a full battery and driving at 120km/h (75 mph), assuming optimal driving conditions and consumption of 28kWh/100km, 1000km will take 9 hours and 43 minutes. Onboard charger

For level 1 and level 2 AC charging, the onboard charger supports up to 11 KW charging. As a result, you can charge the battery 0-100% from home in about 8 hours and 38 minutes.

Charge port

The location of the charge port is on the left rear side. This location makes it easy to use charge stations where you need to back up into the charger. Drivetrain

Zeekr 001 FR has an all-wheel drive system supported by four motors. One for each wheel. The motor(s) used are Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors.

The front suspension is double wishbone, and the rear suspension is Multilink. It uses air suspension and hydraulic dampers. The suspension is fully adaptive on the front and rear axle, so height and damping can be adjusted manually and automatically. The minimum ground clearance is 162 mm, and the maximum is 192 mm.

Brakes

The rear and front brakes are ceramic discs. The front discs are 533mm, and the rear discs are 457mm.

Regenerative braking is available through one-pedal driving combined with blended brakes. Automatic regen is not available in this model.

Exterior

You can choose between 4 different paint colors when ordering this model.

The car has four regular doors and a hatchback-style liftgate.

There is only one roof for this model. The standard roof has a large panoramic roof extending over most areas from the front to the rear. This glass makes the car’s interior feel more spacious and bright, which can improve the mood and comfort of the occupant. The glass is toned to protect against heat from the sun.

The windows from B-pillar and back are tinted.

The seat layout is the traditional five seats with two in front and three in the rear.

Climate system

There is one climate system available. The climate system supports different temperatures in three zones for the driver, passenger and backseat. This model has a heat pump as standard. This heat pump can save significant energy that the EV would use for heating in cold weather.

Comfort

Zeekr 001 FR has several features to make your life as a driver or passenger more comfortable.

Keyless entry allows access to the car without needing to find the key. As long you bring it with you, the doors open.

Keyless go makes it possible to start the car without using the key.

The steering wheel is electrically adjustable.

You have wireless charging for your phone.

User interface and control

The Zeekr 001 FR has multiple integrated screens. Behind the steering wheel is a digital instrument cluster, and in the center console, there is one infotainment screen at the top of the center console. The screen behind the steering wheel integrated into the dashboard is 8.8 inches large. The touch screen at the top of the center console is 15.4 inches large. A head-up display is a standard system that presents speed and other important driver information in front of the driver on the windshield.

This model is equipped with voice control as standard. The voice control lets you control some functionality through voice commands.

Infotainment

One type of sound system is available for the Zeekr 001 FR. With the Yamaha Sound System, you get 12 speakers with a max system output of 300 watts.

In addition, with the standard in-car navigation system, you get the help you need to find your destination. Furthermore, the Zeekr 001 FR supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This functionality allows you to present your phone’s screen in the car’s screen so you can run apps like Google Maps or Waze.

The model has 3 USB-C connections as standard. The model has 1 USB-A connections as standard.

Lights

The standard headlights use LED Matrix technology. LED Matrix is an adaptive system that splits the traditional single headlight beam into dozens of smaller rays that the light controller can turn on and off individually to un-light small areas in front. The Zeekr 001 FR has an Electronic Stability Control as a standard system designed to improve a vehicle’s stability and handling during sudden maneuvers or slippery road conditions.

The Zeekr 001 FR has a lane-keeping assist as a standard system. This system helps to prevent the car from getting out of its lane. In addition, it has a lane departure warning system that warns the driver if the vehicle leaves the driving lane.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert is a standard driver assist system that uses sensors to detect approaching vehicles from the side when backing out of a parking space or driveway.

Forward Collision Warning is a standard driver assist system to help drivers avoid or mitigate frontal collisions.

The Zeekr 001 FR has automatic emergency braking as a standard system. This system helps prevent or mitigate collisions by applying the brakes autonomously if the driver fails to react to an impending collision.

Driving Automation

With the Pilot Assist level 2 system, you get the following driving automation features.

Cargo Capacity and Towing Ability

The cargo capacity in the trunk is 539 liters. With the rear seat down, it is 1411 liters. On the roof, you can load up to 100 kg (220.5 lbs). Under the hood, there is frunk with more storage room. This frunk is 32 liters (1.1 CU FT). The maxium weight of the car is 3080 kg (6790 lbs), and with the base weight of 2350 kg (5181 lbs), you can max load 730 kg (1609 lbs), including driver and passengers. Some options can increase the base weight and reduce the maximum loading weight.

You can order the car with a towbar. The maximum total weight on a braked trailer is 2000, and on unbraked, it is 750 kg (4409/1653 lbs).
