Battery, Range, and Charging
The battery has a gross capacity of 96.0 kWh and a net usable capacity of 92.0 kWh, with a 4.0 kWh buffer (4.2%) for battery protection. The battery operates at a nominal voltage of 800 V, supporting high-power DC charging.
The lithium-ion battery uses NMC (nickel manganese cobalt) chemistry.
Under the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) standard, the maximum rated range is 780 km (485 miles). Depending on the configuration and options such as wheel size, the rated range can be as low as 715 km (444 miles). Larger wheels generally increase energy consumption and reduce range.
WLTP energy consumption is 11.8 kWh/100 km for the base configuration and 12.9 kWh/100 km for the highest-consumption configuration.

The vehicle supports fast DC charging with a maximum power of 250 kW. A 0–100% charge takes approximately 76 minutes. A typical 10–80% session takes about 32 minutes at an average power of 121 kW.
With five minutes of overhead per stop, the optimal charging window is 1–46%. Effective average power, including overhead, is 139 kW over a session lasting about 18 minutes and 48 seconds.
In a 1000 km challenge at a constant speed of 120 km/h (75 mph) with an assumed consumption rate of 18.3 kWh/100 km, the trip would take about 8 hours and 59 minutes, needing two charging stops from 1% to 51%, totaling 40 minutes of charging time.
Onboard Charger
The standard onboard charger supports AC charging at up to 22 kW. A full 0–100% charge takes about 4 hours and 10 minutes with a suitable home charging setup.
Charge Port
The location of the charge port is on the left front side. This location makes it easy to charge stations where you park side into the charger.

Bidirectional Charging
This model supports V2L (Vehicle to Load), allowing you to power electrical equipment requiring up to 9.6 kW of power, and even charge other electric vehicles.
Drivetrain
The Lucid Air Touring features an all-wheel drive system powered by two motors, one on each axle.
The motors used are Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors.
Suspension
The suspension system features a double wishbone front construction and a multi-link rear construction. Both the front and rear dampers are electronically controlled. The front and rear springs are coil springs.
The Standard suspension has steel springs with a fixed height, but you can adjust damping to fit your driving style or road condition.
Ground clearance with this setup is 126 mm.
Steering
Progressive steering is standard on the Lucid Air Touring. It adjusts the steering ratio according to vehicle speed.
Drive Modes
The Lucid Air Touring lets the user select different drive modes that affect the car's handling.
The driver can choose between 3 modes:
- Smooth: Balanced steering and suspension damping, with efficient throttle.
- Swift: Dynamic steering, throttle, and suspension damping.
- Sprint: Dynamic steering, throttle, and suspension damping.
Brakes
The Lucid Air Touring is equipped with cast-iron disc brakes on both the front and rear.
The front discs measure 380 mm, while the rear discs are 375 mm.
Regenerative Braking
Regenerative braking in this model is primarily available through one-pedal driving. Automatic regen and coasting are not available on this model.
The system stops the car completely using friction brakes.If you lift away the foot completely the regen is at one fixed level. This can't be adjusted.

The Lucid Air Touring offers multiple wheel options in different sizes. The available tire and wheel combinations include:

This model does not have a heat pump. This can increase consumption in cold weather compared to models with a heat pump.

User Interface and Control
The Lucid Air Touring uses a primarily screen-based interface while retaining steering-column stalks and a limited number of physical buttons.
On top of the dashboard is a shared frame with three screens, and in the center console, there is a fourth infotainment screen.
Key screen details:
- Infotainment Screen: A 8.0-inch touchscreen located on the left side of the same shared frame. It serves as the main interface for infotainment, navigation, and vehicle settings.
- Driver Information Display: A 14.0-inch screen positioned behind the steering wheel in the center of the shared frame. It provides essential driving data such as speed, range, and navigation prompts.
- Infotainment Screen: A 12.0-inch touchscreen located on the right side of the same shared frame. It serves as the main interface for infotainment, navigation, and vehicle settings.
- Center Console Touchscreen: A 12.0-inch touchscreen located in the center console. It serves as the primary interface for infotainment, navigation, climate control, and vehicle configuration.
The Lucid Air Touring does not have a head-up display. Speed and navigation information remain on the vehicle's other displays.

The Lucid Air Touring is equipped with a single type of steering wheel:

The Lucid Air Touring has a mobile app for Android and iOS to manage and monitor the vehicle remotely. Features:

The Lucid Air Touring offers standard and optional advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Safety Systems
Anti-lock Braking System (ABS): Standard on the Lucid Air Touring. It prevents the wheels from locking during braking.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC): Standard on the Lucid Air Touring. It improves stability during sudden maneuvers and on slippery roads.
Lane-Keeping Assist (LKA): Standard on the Lucid Air Touring. It applies steering corrections if the vehicle begins to leave its lane.
The Lane Departure Warning alerts the driver if the vehicle begins to leave its lane.
Front Cross Traffic Assist (FCTA): Standard on the Lucid Air Touring. It detects traffic crossing ahead when entering an intersection or pulling away from a stop.

The standard DreamDrive Premium SAE Level 2 system includes the following driving automation features:

- Lane Centering Assist (LCA) / AutoSteer: Centers the vehicle in its lane and adjusts speed in traffic. The driver must keep their hands on the steering wheel and remain attentive.

Sensors & Cameras
This model uses cameras, radar, LiDAR and ultrasonic sensors for its driver assist systems.
The vehicle’s surroundings are monitored by radar sensors (five), LiDAR sensors (one), cameras (five), and ultrasonic sensors (12).
Safety
The Lucid Air Touring is equipped with the following airbags:
- Front airbags for the driver and front passenger
- Side curtain airbags for both the first and second rows
- Side airbags for the driver and front passenger
- A front-center airbag that reduces the risk of the driver and front passenger colliding with each other during a side impact
The front and rear seatbelts are equipped with pyrotechnic pretensioners and load limiters. In the event of a collision, the pretensioners tighten the seatbelts to secure occupants firmly in their seats, while the load limiters allow a controlled amount of webbing to extend, reducing the risk of injury from excessive force.
The Lucid Air Touring has been rigorously tested by Euro NCAP, an independent organization that evaluates vehicle safety. It received a 5-star rating, with the following scores:

Cargo Capacity and Towing Ability
The trunk offers a cargo capacity of 456 liters (16.1 cu ft). With the rear seat folded down, this expands to 627 liters (22.1 cu ft).
The maximum roof load is 75 kg (165.3 lb).
The frunk (front trunk) has a capacity of 283 liters (10.0 cu ft).
The maximum permitted vehicle weight is 2850 kg (6283 lbs), and the base curb weight is 2360 kg (5203 lbs). This leaves a payload of 490 kg (1080 lbs), including occupants. Options can increase curb weight and reduce payload.
This model is not available with a towbar and cannot tow a trailer.
