Battery, Range, and Charging
The battery has a gross capacity of 69.7 kWh and a net usable capacity of 66.5 kWh, with a 3.2 kWh buffer (4.6%) for battery protection. With a nominal voltage of 367 volts, the system is classified as a 400-volt battery system.
The lithium-ion battery uses NMC (nickel manganese cobalt) chemistry.
Under the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) standard, the maximum rated range is 423 km (263 miles). Depending on the configuration and options such as wheel size, the rated range can be as low as 388 km (241 miles). Larger wheels generally increase energy consumption and reduce range.
WLTP energy consumption is 15.7 kWh/100 km for the base configuration and 17.1 kWh/100 km for the highest-consumption configuration.

The vehicle supports fast DC charging with a maximum power of 112 kW. A 0–100% charge takes approximately 65 minutes. A typical 10–80% session takes about 30 minutes at an average power of 94 kW.
With five minutes of overhead per stop, the optimal charging window is 4–70%. Effective average power, including overhead, is 83 kW over a session lasting about 32 minutes and 53 seconds.
In a 1000 km challenge at a constant speed of 120 km/h (75 mph) with an assumed consumption rate of 25 kWh/100 km, the trip would take about 10 hours and 33 minutes, needing four charging stops from 4% to 73%, totaling 134 minutes of charging time.
Onboard Charger
The standard onboard charger supports AC charging at up to 11 kW. A full 0–100% charge takes about 6 hours and 2 minutes with a suitable home charging setup.
Charge Port
The location of the charge port is on the right rear side. This placement makes it easy to use charging stations that require backing up to connect.

Drivetrain
The Mercedes-EQ EQB 350 4MATIC features an all-wheel drive system powered by two motors, one on each axle.
An induction motor powers the front axle, while a permanent-magnet synchronous motor powers the rear axle.

Manual regeneration is another mode, where regenerative braking is controlled by pressing the brake pedal. The brake system blends in physical brakes only when necessary.
Another option is the Regen on Accelerator Pedal mode where regenerative braking is activated when the driver eases off the accelerator pedal. This system allows the vehicle to slow down and recover energy without the driver needing to press the brake pedal, a feature often referred to as one-pedal driving.
Drivers can also adjust the regenerative braking strength when lifting off the accelerator. There are four levels of regenerative braking to choose from, allowing you to customize the driving experience to your preference.

The True is available with the optional **AMG Line** exterior styling package, featuring sportier bumpers, a distinctive radiator grille, and larger wheels for a more dynamic appearance.

A conventional roof is standard.
As an option, you can order this model with a panoramic roof. The glass has two panels. One over the first and the second rows, and occupants can open the front part. This glass creates a more spacious and bright interior. Both glass panels have an electric curtain that occupants can use to protect against the sun.
Privacy glass from the B-pillar rearward is optional. It reduces glare and solar heat.

The maximum roof load is 75 kg (165.3 lb).
Optional roof rails are available for easy mounting of a roof box or rack.
The maximum permitted vehicle weight is 2580 kg (5688 lbs), and the base curb weight is 2100 kg (4630 lbs). This leaves a payload of 480 kg (1058 lbs), including occupants. Options can increase curb weight and reduce payload.
480 kg is considered low for this type of car and may limit how much cargo you can carry in addition to passengers.
This model is not available with a towbar and cannot tow a trailer.

The Mercedes-EQ EQB 350 4MATIC had its world premiere on 4/18/2021, with deliveries starting in November 2021.
