Performance
The HiPhi Y Performance has a maximum power of 371 kW (504 hp / 498 bhp) and a total torque of 620 Nm (458 lb-ft). It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 4.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 km/h (124 mph).
Battery, Range, and Charging
The battery has a gross capacity of 115.0 kWh and a net usable capacity of 109.0 kWh, with a 6.0 kWh buffer (5.2%) for battery protection.
The lithium-ion battery uses NMC (nickel manganese cobalt) chemistry.
According to the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) standard, the vehicle's range is 620 km (385 miles), with an energy consumption rate of 17.6 kWh/100 km (3.5 mi/kWh).

The vehicle supports fast DC charging with a maximum power of 145 kW. A 0–100% charge takes approximately 92 minutes. A typical 10–80% session takes about 48 minutes at an average power of 95 kW.
With five minutes of overhead per stop, the optimal charging window is 4–49%. Effective average power, including overhead, is 97 kW over a session lasting about 30 minutes and 28 seconds.
In a 1000 km challenge at a constant speed of 120 km/h (75 mph) with an assumed consumption rate of 28 kWh/100 km, the trip would take about 10 hours and 8 minutes, needing three charging stops from 3% to 56%, totaling 108 minutes of charging time.
Onboard Charger
The standard onboard charger supports AC charging at up to 11 kW. A full 0–100% charge takes about 9 hours and 54 minutes with a suitable home charging setup.
Charge Port
The location of the charge port is on the right rear side. This placement makes it easy to use charging stations that require backing up to connect.

Bidirectional Charging
This model supports V2L (Vehicle to Load), allowing you to power electrical equipment requiring up to 3500 kW of power, and even charge other electric vehicles.
Drivetrain
The HiPhi Y Performance features an all-wheel drive system powered by two motors, one on each axle.
Suspension
The suspension system features a double wishbone front construction and a multi-link rear construction. Both the front and rear dampers are electronically controlled. The front and rear springs are coil springs.
The Standard suspension has steel springs with a fixed height, but you can adjust damping to fit your driving style or road condition.
Ground clearance with this setup is 200 mm.
Steering
Progressive steering is standard on the HiPhi Y Performance. It adjusts the steering ratio according to vehicle speed.
In addition, rear-wheel steering is standard, reducing the turning circle at low speeds.
Drive Modes
The HiPhi Y Performance lets the user select different drive modes that affect the car's handling.
The driver can choose between 4 modes:
- Eco: Comfort steering and throttle.
- Comfort: Balanced steering and throttle.
- Sport: Dynamic steering and throttle.
- Custom: Custom steering and throttle.
Brakes
The HiPhi Y Performance is equipped with cast-iron disc brakes on both the front and rear.
Regenerative Braking
Regenerative braking in this model is primarily available through one-pedal driving. Automatic regen and coasting are not available on this model.
The system stops the car completely using friction brakes.Drivers can also adjust the regenerative braking strength when lifting off the accelerator. There are four levels of regenerative braking to choose from, allowing you to customize the driving experience to your preference.
Exterior
The HiPhi Y Performance measures 4938 mm in length, 1958 mm in width, and 1658 mm in height, placing it in the mid-size SUV segment.
The HiPhi Y Performance is available in 5 paint colors, including several metallic finishes.
You can select from multiple wheel designs, all available in the same size, on the HiPhi Y Performance. The available tire and wheel combinations include:

The car has two regular doors in front, a unique combination of regular doors with a gullwing roof on the second row, and a hatchback-style liftgate in the rear.
Soft close is standard on the side doors.
Powered side doors are standard.
There is only one roof option for this model.
The standard roof has a panoramic glass over first row in addition to the roof part of the gullving doors have glass. This glass creates a more spacious and bright interior.
The windows behind the B-pillar are tinted for privacy and to reduce glare and solar heat gain.

User Interface and Control
The HiPhi Y Performance features a screen-focused control interface with limited physical buttons and no stalks, providing a minimalist approach to vehicle controls. This design prioritizes touchscreen interaction, which may appeal to tech-savvy users but could be less intuitive for those accustomed to traditional controls.
Behind the steering wheel is a digital instrument cluster. In addition, there is one infotainment screen in the center console and one infotainment screen in front of the passenger seat.
Key screen details:
- Driver Information Display: The 12.3-inch screen is integrated into the dashboard behind the steering wheel. It provides essential driving data such as speed, range, and navigation prompts.
- Center Console Touchscreen: A 17.0-inch touchscreen located at the top of the center console. It serves as the primary interface for infotainment, navigation, and vehicle settings.
- Passenger Infotainment Screen: The 15.0-inch touchscreen is integrated into the dashboard in front of the passenger. It provides entertainment and interaction options for the passenger.
A standard head-up display projects key driving information—such as speed and navigation cues—onto the windshield.
HiPhi Y Performance
Steering Wheel
The HiPhi Y Performance is equipped with a single type of steering wheel:
The steering wheel adjusts for tilt and reach. The adjustment is electrically powered.
The standard easy-entry function retracts the steering wheel automatically when entering or exiting the vehicle.

From the steering wheel you can control:
- Media Controls: Steering-wheel controls provide access to audio and media functions.

- Cruise Control: A stalk or button on the steering wheel allows you to set and adjust the cruise control speed.

Both the exterior and interior mirrors use conventional mirror technology to provide a clear view of the area behind the vehicle.

Infotainment
The HiPhi Y Performance features the HiPhi OS infotainment system with navigation, media, and vehicle settings, and supports over-the-air updates.
Navigation System
The built-in navigation system uses detailed maps and offers advanced route planning. It provides real-time traffic information to support an efficient and stress-free journey.
Sound System
You can choose between two sound systems for the HiPhi Y Performance:
- SONIC LINE SYSTEM: The system has 14 speakers and a maximum output of 600 watts.
- SONIC PRO SYSTEM: The system has 25 speakers and a maximum output of 2820 watts.
The model includes USB-C connectivity as standard (total: 4).
Mobile App
The HiPhi Y Performance has a mobile app for Android and iOS to manage and monitor the vehicle remotely. Features:
- Locate Your Vehicle: Check the current location of your car.
- Preconditioning: Preheat or cool your car before you start your journey.
- Lock and unlock: Lock or unlock the doors remotely.
- Scheduled Charging: Set a charging schedule.
Lights
The standard headlights use LED Matrix technology. LED Matrix is an adaptive system that splits the traditional single headlight beam into dozens of smaller rays that the light controller can turn on and off individually. It includes corner lights that illuminate the side when turning. The LED headlights feature multiple LED segments, allowing you to customize your preferred daytime running light (DRL) signature.
The taillights use LED technology.
HiPhi Y Performance
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
The HiPhi Y Performance offers standard and optional advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Safety Systems
Anti-lock Braking System (ABS): Standard on the HiPhi Y Performance. It prevents the wheels from locking during braking.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC): Standard on the HiPhi Y Performance. It improves stability during sudden maneuvers and on slippery roads.
Lane-Keeping Assist (LKA): Standard on the HiPhi Y Performance. It applies steering corrections if the vehicle begins to leave its lane.
The Lane Departure Warning alerts the driver if the vehicle begins to leave its lane.
Front Cross Traffic Assist (FCTA): Standard on the HiPhi Y Performance. It detects traffic crossing ahead when entering an intersection or pulling away from a stop.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA): Standard on the HiPhi Y Performance. It detects vehicles approaching from the side while reversing out of a parking space or driveway.
Forward Collision Warning (FCW): Standard on the HiPhi Y Performance. It warns the driver of a potential frontal collision.
Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB): Standard on the HiPhi Y Performance. It applies the brakes automatically if the driver does not respond to an imminent collision.
Blind-spot Monitoring (BSM): Standard on the HiPhi Y Performance. It detects traffic in the vehicle's blind spots.
Exit Warning: Standard on the HiPhi Y Performance. It warns occupants not to open a door when it detects approaching traffic or another hazard.
Driving Automation
The standard HiPhi Pilot SAE Level 2 system includes the following driving automation features:
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Lane Centering Assist (LCA) / AutoSteer: Centers the vehicle in its lane and adjusts speed in traffic. The driver must keep their hands on the steering wheel and remain attentive.

Safety
The HiPhi Y Performance is equipped with the following airbags:
- Front airbags for the driver and front passenger
- Side curtain airbags for both the first and second rows
- Side airbags for the driver and front passenger

The HiPhi Y Performance includes the following security and access features:

Cargo Capacity and Towing Ability
The trunk offers a cargo capacity of 692 liters (24.4 cu ft). With the rear seat folded down, this expands to 1848 liters (65.3 cu ft).
The frunk (front trunk) has a capacity of 85 liters (3.0 cu ft).
This model is not available with a towbar and cannot tow a trailer.
