Performance

Charge port

The location of the charge port is on the left rear side. This location makes it easy to use charge stations where you need to back up into the charger. Drivetrain

Volvo EX90 Twin Motor has an all-wheel drive system supported by two motors, one on each axle.

The front suspension is double wishbone, and the rear suspension is Multilink. It uses air suspension and hydraulic dampers. The suspension is fully adaptive on the front and rear axle, so height and damping can be adjusted manually and automatically. The minimum ground clearance is 188 mm, and the maximum is 248 mm.

Brakes

The rear and front brakes are cast-iron discs. The front discs are 400mm, and the rear discs are 390mm.

Regenerative braking is available in two modes. You can use one-pedal driving or you can coast and use the blended brakes to regen. The system stops the car completely using friction brakes.

Exterior

You can choose between 8 different paint colors when ordering this model. Additionally, you can choose between 2 wheels with sizes from 21 to 22 inches.

The car has four regular doors and a hatchback-style liftgate. Soft close is a standard function for the side doors.

There is only one roof for this model. The standard roof has a large panoramic roof extending over most of the areas from the front to the rear. This glass makes the car’s interior feel more spacious and bright, which can improve the mood and comfort of the occupant. It has an electric curtain that occupants can use to protect against the sun.

You can order the car with tinted windows from B-pillar and back.

Interior

The seat layout is the traditional five seats with two in front and three in the rear.

First row seats

Only one front seat type is available in the Volvo EX90 Twin Motor.

There is only one type of steering wheel available.

Climate system

There is one climate system available. The climate system supports different temperatures in five zones. The driver, passenger, and two zones in the the 2. row and one in the 3. row. This model has a heat pump as standard. This heat pump can save significant energy that the EV would use for heating in cold weather.

Comfort

Volvo EX90 Twin Motor has several features to make your life as a driver or passenger more comfortable.

Keyless entry allows access to the car without needing to find the key. As long you bring it with you, the doors open.

Keyless go makes it possible to start the car without using the key.

The steering wheel is electrically adjustable.

You have wireless charging for your phone.

User interface and control

The Volvo EX90 Twin Motor has multiple integrated screens. Behind the steering wheel is a digital instrument cluster, and in the center console, there is one infotainment screen at the top of the center console. The screen behind the steering wheel integrated into the dashboard is 9.0 inches large. The touch screen at the top of the center console is 14.5 inches large. A head-up display is a standard system that presents speed and other important driver information in front of the driver on the windshield.

Infotainment

You can choose between two sound systems on the Volvo EX90 Twin Motor. With the High Performance, you get eight speakers with a max system output of 200 watts. With the Bowers & Wilkins, you get 25 speakers with a max system output of 1610 watts.

The model has 4 USB-C connections as standard.

Lights

You can choose between two types of headlights for the Volvo EX90 Twin Motor. The standard headlights use LED technology. Headlights based on LED Matrix technology are available as an option. LED Matrix is an adaptive system that splits the traditional single headlight beam into dozens of smaller rays that the light controller can turn on and off individually to un-light small areas in front.

This frunk is 37 liters (1.3 CU FT). The maxium weight of the car is 3380 kg (7452 lbs), and with the base weight of 2748 kg (6058 lbs), you can max load 632 kg (1393 lbs), including driver and passengers. Some options can increase the base weight and reduce the maximum loading weight.

You can order the car with a towbar. The maximum total weight on a braked trailer is 2200, and on unbraked, it is 750 kg (4850/1653 lbs).
