Performance

The MG Marvel R Electric Performance has a maximum power of 212 KW (288 hp/284 bhp). The total torque is 665 nm (491 ft-lb). It performs the 0-100km/h sprint (0-62mph) in 4.9 seconds. The top speed is 200 km/h.

Battery, range, and charging

The battery has a gross capacity of 75kWh and a net capacity of 70kWh, meaning you have a 5kWh buffer for protection. (6.7%).

The location of the charge port is on the left rear side. This location makes it easy to use charge stations where you need to back up into the charger. Drivetrain

MG Marvel R Electric Performance has an all-wheel drive system supported by three motors. One on front axle, and two on rear axle.

The front suspension is MacPherson Strut, and the rear suspension is Multilink. It uses steel springs and hydraulic dampers. The suspension has a fixed height and damping. The ground clearance with this suspension is 150 mm.

Brakes

The rear and front brakes are cast-iron discs.

Regenerative braking is available in several modes. The most efficient is automatic regen. In this mode, the car coasts when possible and uses regenerative braking to reduce speed. You can also enable one-pedal driving.

Exterior

You can choose between 5 different paint colors when ordering this model.

The car has four regular doors and a liftgate.

There is only one roof for this model. The standard roof has a panoramic roof. The glass extends most of the roof, and occupants can open the front part. This glass makes the car’s interior feel more spacious and bright, which can improve the mood and comfort of the occupant. It has an electric curtain that occupants can use to protect against the sun.

The windows from B-pillar and back are tinted.

User interface and control

The screen behind the steering wheel mounted into the dashboard is 7.0 inches large. The touch screen at the top of the center console is 10.2 inches large. The model does not have a head-up display.

This model is equipped with voice control as standard. The voice control lets you control some functionality through voice commands.

Infotainment

One type of sound system is available for the MG Marvel R Electric Performance. With the , you get NULL speakers with a max system output of watts.

In addition, with the standard in-car navigation system, you get the help you need to find your destination. Furthermore, the MG Marvel R Electric Performance supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This functionality allows you to present your phone’s screen in the car’s screen so you can run apps like Google Maps or Waze.

The MG Marvel R Electric Performance has a lane-keeping assist as a standard system. This system helps to prevent the car from getting out of its lane. In addition, it has a lane departure warning system that warns the driver if the vehicle leaves the driving lane.

Driving Automation

With the level 2 system, you get the following driving automation features.

The cargo capacity in the trunk is 359 liters. With the rear seat down, it is 1396 liters. Under the hood, there is frunk with more storage room. This frunk is 150 liters (5.3 CU FT). The maxium weight of the car is 2373 kg (5232 lbs), and with the base weight of 1920 kg (4233 lbs), you can max load 453 kg (999 lbs), including driver and passengers. Some options can increase the base weight and reduce the maximum loading weight. 453kg is considered low for this type of car and might restrict how much stuff you can bring in addition to passengers.

You can order the car with a towbar. The maximum total weight on a braked trailer is 750, and on unbraked, it is 750 kg (1653/1653 lbs).
