Advanced Driver Assistance Systems

The standard XPeng VLA Smart Driving SAE Level 2 system includes the following driving automation features:

In the event of a collision, the pretensioners tighten the seatbelts to secure occupants firmly in their seats, while the load limiters allow a controlled amount of webbing to extend, reducing the risk of injury from excessive force.

The Volkswagen ID. UNYX 08 RWD Long Range includes the following security and access features:
- Keyless Entry and Start: Unlock and start the car with the key in your pocket or bag.
- Phone-as-Key Functionality: Use your smartphone as a digital key to unlock and start the vehicle.

Cargo Capacity and Towing Ability
The trunk offers a cargo capacity of 766 liters (27.1 cu ft). With the rear seat folded down, this expands to 1845 liters (65.2 cu ft).
The maximum permitted vehicle weight is 2740 kg (6041 lbs), and the base curb weight is 2257 kg (4976 lbs). This leaves a payload of 483 kg (1065 lbs), including occupants. Options can increase curb weight and reduce payload.
483 kg is considered low for this type of car and may limit how much cargo you can carry in addition to passengers.
This model is not available with a towbar and cannot tow a trailer.

The Volkswagen ID. UNYX 08 RWD Long Range had its world premiere on 11/10/2025, with deliveries starting in June 2026.
