Laderens udgangseffekt er den effekt, ladestationen leverer. Energi til batteriet er den mængde, der faktisk når frem: omkring 5 % går tabt som varme og ved konvertering undervejs, og ladetiderne beregnes ud fra denne reducerede energimængde. Energi divideret med tid giver derfor en værdi, der er cirka 5 % lavere end kolonnen med laderens udgangseffekt.
