Skyworth Auto is the electric-vehicle arm of the Skyworth Group, a major Chinese consumer-electronics company best known for televisions and home appliances. The automotive business grew out of Skywell (Tianmei), a manufacturer of electric buses and commercial vehicles, and adopted the Skyworth name in 2020 to enter the passenger-EV market.

The brand focuses on practical, value-oriented electric SUVs. Its core model, the BE11 (sold in some markets under the Skywell name), is a mid-size electric SUV offered in standard- and long-range versions aimed at budget-conscious families. Skyworth emphasizes comfort, interior space, and cabin wellness features over outright performance.

Drawing on its parent company's electronics expertise and its Skywell commercial-vehicle heritage, Skyworth targets affordable segments both in China and selected export markets. It remains a smaller player compared with China's leading EV makers, competing primarily on price and equipment.
