Honda EV models

Honda is a Japanese multinational conglomerate that manufactures automobiles, motorcycles, and power equipment. It is the world's largest motorcycle manufacturer and one of the largest automobile manufacturers. Honda also has a luxury brand called Acura, which it launched in 1986 as the first Japanese luxury brand.

Honda has a goal to achieve carbon neutrality for all its products and corporate activities by 2050. It also aims to make more than 2 million EVs a year by 2030. Honda’s EV strategy includes developing its own Honda e: Architecture, a new EV platform that combines hardware and software, which will be adopted from 2026. Honda also has an alliance with General Motors, which will allow it to introduce affordable EVs in North America from 2027, with a cost and range that will be competitive with gasoline-powered vehicle.

Honda’s current EV models include the Honda e, a compact hatchback that is sold in Europe and Japan, and the Clarity, a midsize sedan that offers plug-in hybrid, battery electric, and fuel cell variants. Honda also plans to launch several new EV models in China, such as the e:NS2, the e:NP2, and a concept car called the SUV e:prototype. Honda’s EVs feature advanced technologies such as Honda Sensing, a suite of safety and driver-assist systems, and Honda Connect, a cloud-based service that connects drivers with their cars and offers various functions such as remote control, navigation, and entertainment.
