Honda has long been known for its reliable combustion-engine vehicles and hybrid technology, but the company is now making a decisive push into the battery electric vehicle market. The Honda Prologue, launched in 2024 as the brand's first mainstream EV for North America, is built on General Motors' Ultium platform and has been well received for its spacious interior, competitive range, and attractive pricing.

The centerpiece of Honda's electrification strategy is the Honda 0 Series, a new family of purpose-built electric vehicles developed on Honda's own dedicated EV architecture.
