Skoda Peaq — what we know so far
The Skoda Peaq is the Czech brand's largest and most ambitious electric vehicle to date. Positioned as the new flagship above the Enyaq, it is a seven-seat SUV built on the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform at Skoda's home plant in Mladá Boleslav. Skoda confirmed the name in January 2026, showed a near-production version on 30 March 2026, and expects to begin customer deliveries by mid-2026.
The name itself is a statement of intent. "Peaq" signals the top of Skoda's electric lineup, and the car it describes is the production evolution of the Vision 7S concept first shown in spring 2022. That concept introduced Skoda's current "Modern Solid" design language, and the Peaq carries it forward into a vehicle aimed squarely at families who need three rows and a fully electric drivetrain.
CEO Klaus Zellmer said at the reveal: "The Skoda Peaq is designed for real life — for families who need space, for drivers who want confidence on long journeys, and for anyone who values modern style without compromise. As our next flagship, it raises the Skoda brand to a new level."
Confirmed specifications
Following the 30 March 2026 press reveal, Skoda has now confirmed a wide range of details.
Dimensions and space
The Peaq is 4,874 mm long, 1,664 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,965 mm. That wheelbase is the key to the packaging: it gives Skoda enough room for a genuine third row rather than the emergency-only kind.
Seating is available in five- or seven-seat configurations. Boot space is up to 1,010 litres with five seats and 299 litres with all seven seats in use. There is also a 37-litre frunk under the bonnet.
Powertrain variants
Skoda has confirmed three powertrain options:
| Variant | Output | Range (WLTP) | DC 10–80% | 0–100 km/h |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Peaq 60 | 150 kW (204 PS) | TBC | 27 min | TBC |
| Peaq 90 | 190 kW (258 PS) | 600+ km | 28 min | TBC |
| Peaq 90x (AWD) | 220 kW (299 PS) | 600+ km | 28 min | 6.7 s |
The naming convention follows the pattern used on the Enyaq, where the number indicates the approximate battery capacity in kWh. The 90 and 90x variants use what is expected to be the 89 kWh pack, while the 60 uses a smaller battery — likely around 60 kWh. The 90x adds a second motor on the front axle for all-wheel drive.
The platform is the MEB, which operates at 400 volts. This is the same architecture underpinning the Enyaq, Volkswagen ID.Buzz, and other VW Group electric vehicles.
Charging and bidirectional power
DC fast charging takes 27 minutes (Peaq 60) or 28 minutes (Peaq 90 / 90x) from 10 to 80 percent. Peak charging speed in kW has not been published.
The Peaq supports both Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Home (V2H). V2L allows powering external devices such as e-bikes or caravan equipment. V2H enables bidirectional charging through the MOON POWER Ambibox DC wallbox, feeding energy back into a building. Skoda says V2L will be available for all its electric models produced from June 2026 onwards.
Exterior design
The Peaq is the most developed expression of Skoda's Modern Solid design language. Key exterior details include:
- Illuminated Tech-Deck Face — a glossy black front panel with fine vertical slats and LED backlighting, giving the Peaq a distinctive face.
- Full LED Matrix headlights with 18 individually controlled light segments.
- Flush door handles that retract into the bodywork and extend electrically as the driver approaches.
- Panoramic sunroof with Dynamic Shade Control — electrochromic glass divided into nine individually adjustable segments with three presets and manual configuration. It is the largest panoramic roof ever fitted to a Skoda.
- Aerodynamic alloy wheels from 19 to 21 inches.
- 10 paint finish options available.
Interior and comfort
Five interior design themes are available, including a Sportline option:
| Theme | Materials |
|---|---|
| Suite | Techtona (leather alternative) in black or light grey (Ceramique) |
| Loft | Grey textile with black Techtona trim |
| Lodge | Grey embossed textile with green-tone Techtona |
| Sportline Lounge | Suedia upholstery with Techtona finishing |
A leather upholstery option will follow later in 2026. Over 50 kg of recycled materials are used in selected interiors.
Standard equipment includes ambient lighting and a heated multifunctional steering wheel.
Relax Package
An optional Relax Package adds AGR-certified seats with massage, electrically adjustable ergonomic leg rests, front pillows, and a foldable table. An integrated wellness app offers six modes — including relaxation, stretching, and re-energising — that simultaneously coordinate climate, ambient lighting, and seat massage.
Sonos sound system
The Peaq is the first Skoda to offer a Sonos sound system, adapting the home audio brand's technology for immersive 3D in-car sound.
Technology and displays
- 10-inch driver display for essential driving information.
- 13.6-inch vertical infotainment display with haptic controls, running the latest Android-based system with native Spotify, YouTube, and Google Maps.
- Augmented reality head-up display (optional).
- Digital Mobile Key via smartphone or smartwatch — a new feature for Skoda.
- Dual Phonebox with Qi 2 wireless charging supporting up to 25 W.
Simply Clever features

- Three-spoke sports steering wheel with aluminium pedals

Pricing and launch
The world premiere took place on 30 March 2026 with a near-production vehicle. Customer deliveries are expected from mid-2026 across European markets.
Official pricing has not been announced. Analysts estimate a starting price in the range of 50,000 to 55,000 euros in Europe, which would position the Peaq as Skoda's most expensive model but still below comparable offerings from Audi or BMW. For the UK market, expectations centre around 50,000 to 55,000 pounds.
A seven-seat electric SUV with over 600 km of range at that price point faces limited competition — the Hyundai Ioniq 9 being its closest rival.
