Maxus (SAIC Maxus) traces its roots to the British LDV van company, whose assets were acquired by SAIC Motor in 2010 and relaunched as a global light-commercial and passenger-vehicle brand. The brand's electric push centres on the MIFA 9, a full-size seven-seat luxury MPV built on SAIC's dedicated MIFA platform.
