Luxeed is a collaborative electric vehicle brand created by Chery Automobile and technology giant Huawei. It is part of Huawei's Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), the ecosystem that also includes brands such as AITO, in which Huawei contributes software, electronics, and smart-driving technology while the automaker handles manufacturing.
Luxeed's vehicles are built on Chery's E0X platform with an 800V silicon-carbide architecture and Huawei's smart-chassis technology. The lineup includes the S7, a mid-size electric sedan, and the R7, a sleek crossover, both offered with rear- or all-wheel drive and multiple battery sizes. Inside, the cars feature Huawei's HarmonyOS infotainment and the company's advanced driver-assistance system.
The partnership lets Chery tap Huawei's strengths in consumer electronics, connectivity, and autonomous-driving software, while giving Huawei another channel to deploy its automotive technology without building cars itself. Positioned as a tech-forward premium brand, Luxeed competes directly with Tesla and other smart-EV makers in China's fast-moving market.
