Seat Types and Seating Layouts

Seat types and seating layouts distinguish how positions are built and arranged: a bench shares structure or cushions, individual seats separate occupants, captain's chairs prioritize separate second-row access, and third rows add folding rear positions. These labels do not establish usable width, belt geometry, child-restraint fit, adult comfort, cargo flexibility, or approved travel positions; compare the exact layout and restraints; see Car Seat Types and Seating Layouts.
