Lumbar support, thigh support, bolsters, and multicontour seats are different fit features. Lumbar adjustment changes lower-back contour; thigh support extends or reshapes the cushion; bolsters support the torso or thighs laterally; and a multicontour seat combines several adjustable zones; more adjustment does not guarantee a better fit, because each support must match the occupant without creating pressure or restricting movement; see Seat Adjustment, Comfort Features, and Safety.
