Last modified: Aug 05, 2026

The Digital Circularity Vehicle Passport is an EU-mandated digital record for vehicle circularity information. From 1 September 2032, each vehicle placed on the EU market must have one, accessible free of charge.

What it contains

It links removal and replacement information, restricted-substance data, recycled-content declarations, and the official spare-parts catalogue. It must be machine-readable and interoperable with other environmental passports, including the Battery Passport. See Interior Materials, Air Quality, and Circularity.
