Performance

Each charge session would take 41 minutes and 45 seconds.

Charge port

The location of the charge port is on the left rear side. This location makes it easy to use charge stations where you need to back up into the charger. Drivetrain

Peugot E-5008 Long Range has a front-wheel drive system supported by one motor on the front axle.

The front suspension is MacPherson Strut, and the rear suspension is Torsion Beam. It uses steel springs and hydraulic dampers. The suspension has a fixed height and damping. The ground clearance with this suspension is 198 mm.

Brakes

Regenerative braking is available in two modes. You can use one-pedal driving or you can coast and use the blended brakes to regen. You can adjust how strong regen you get when you lift the foot. There are three levels.

Exterior

You can choose between 6 different paint colors when ordering this model. Additionally, you can choose between 2 wheels with sizes from 19 to 20 inches.

The car has four regular doors and a liftgate.

You can choose between two types of roofs on this model. The standard is just a regular roof. As an option, you can order this model with a panoramic roof. The glass extends most of the roof, and occupants can open the front part. This glass makes the car’s interior feel more spacious and bright, which can improve the mood and comfort of the occupant. It has an electric curtain that occupants can use to protect against the sun.

The windows from B-pillar and back are tinted.

Interior

The seat layout is seven seats with two in front, three seats in the second row and two seats on third row.

First row seats

Only one front seat type is available in the Peugot E-5008 Long Range.

The third row has a two-seat bench with a 50:50 split. Again, you can fold down the seats when not used to create a larger cargo capacity.

There is only one type of steering wheel available.

Climate system

There is one climate system available. The 3-zone climate system supports different temperatures in three zones for the driver, passenger and backseat. This model has a heat pump as standard. This heat pump can save significant energy that the EV would use for heating in cold weather.

Comfort

Peugot E-5008 Long Range has several features to make your life as a driver or passenger more comfortable.

Keyless entry allows access to the car without needing to find the key. As long you bring it with you, the doors open.

Keyless go makes it possible to start the car without using the key.

You have wireless charging for your phone.

User interface and control

The Peugot E-5008 Long Range has twin screens on a shared frame mounted with brackets on the dashboard. Behind the steering wheel is a digital instrument cluster, and on the right part, there is an infotainment screen. The screen behind the steering wheel on the left of the frame is 10.0 inches large. The touch screen at the right part of the shared frame is 10.0 inches large. The model does not have a head-up display.

Infotainment

You can choose between two sound systems on the Peugot E-5008 Long Range. With the , you get six speakers with a max system output of 100 watts. With the , you get ten speakers with a max system output of 690 watts.

In addition, with the standard in-car navigation system, you get the help you need to find your destination. Furthermore, the Peugot E-5008 Long Range supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This functionality allows you to present your phone’s screen in the car’s screen so you can run apps like Google Maps or Waze.

The model has 4 USB-C connections as standard.

Lights

You can choose between two types of headlights for the Peugot E-5008 Long Range. The standard headlights use LED technology. The standard headlights use LED Matrix technology. LED Matrix is an adaptive system that splits the traditional single headlight beam into dozens of smaller rays that the light controller can turn on and off individually to un-light small areas in front. In addition, the standard taillights use LED technology.

Advanced driver assistance systems

The Peugot E-5008 Long Range has several standard and optional advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for better safety and comfort.

Safety systems

The Peugot E-5008 Long Range has an anti-lock braking system (ABS) as a standard system. This system helps to prevent a vehicle’s wheels from locking up during braking.

The Peugot E-5008 Long Range has a lane-keeping assist as a standard system. This system helps to prevent the car from getting out of its lane. In addition, it has a lane departure warning system that warns the driver if the vehicle leaves the driving lane.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert is an optional driver assist system that uses sensors to detect approaching vehicles from the side when backing out of a parking space or driveway.

The Peugot E-5008 Long Range has automatic emergency braking as a standard system. This system helps prevent or mitigate collisions by applying the brakes autonomously if the driver fails to react to an impending collision.

Blind-spot monitoring is an optional driver-assist system. This side assist system helps to detect traffic in blind spots.

Driving Automation

The Peugot E-5008 Long Range offers driving automation on level 1 or 2, depending on the equipment level.

With the Drive Assist level 1 system, you get the following driving automation features.

With the Drive Assist Plus level 2 system, you get additional driving automation features to the ones listed above.

• Lane Centering Assist (LCA) /AutoSteer: keeps the car in your lane and slows down if needed in traffic. The system limits how long you can drive without touching the steering wheel.

Sensors & Cameras

This model uses cameras, radar, and ultrasonic sensors for the driver assist systems. Up to three radar sensors, five cameras, and 12 ultrasonic sensors register everything that happens in the vehicle’s environment.

Cargo Capacity and Towing Ability

The cargo capacity in the trunk is 300 liters. With the rear seat down, it is 1815 liters. On the roof, you can load up to 80 kg (176.4 lbs). The maxium weight of the car is 2640 kg (5820 lbs), and with the base weight of 2225 kg (4905 lbs), you can max load 415 kg (915 lbs), including driver and passengers. Some options can increase the base weight and reduce the maximum loading weight. 415kg is considered low for this type of car and might restrict how much stuff you can bring in addition to passengers.

You can order the car with a towbar. The maximum total weight on a braked trailer is 1000, and on unbraked, it is 750 kg (2205/1653 lbs).
