Drivetrain

Maserati GranCabrio Folgore features an all-wheel drive system powered by two motors, one on each axle.

Suspension

The front suspension is double wishbone, and the rear suspension is Multilink. It uses air suspension and hydraulic dampers. The suspension is fully adaptive on the front and rear axle, so height and damping can be adjusted manually and automatically. The minimum ground clearance is 145 mm, and the maximum is 205 mm.

Drive modes

The Maserati GranCabrio Folgore lets the user select different drive modes that affect the car’s handling. The driver can choose between 4 modes:

The rear and front brakes are cast-iron discs. The front discs are 350mm, and the rear discs are 350mm.

Regenerative braking

Regenerative braking is available in two modes. You can use one-pedal driving or you can coast and use the blended brakes to regen. At low speeds, the one-pedal drive mode will keep the car creeping forward.

Additionally, you can adjust the strength of the regenerative braking when you lift your foot off the accelerator. There are three levels of regenerative braking to choose from, allowing you to customize the driving experience to your preference.

You can select from multiple wheel options in different sizes on the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore, allowing you to customize your vehicle to suit your style and driving preferences. The available tire and wheel combinations include:

• 255/50 tires on 19" rims
• 255/45 tires on 20" rims front and 295/40 tires on 20" rims rear
• 255/40 tires on 21" rims front and 295/35 tires on 21" rims rear

More narrow wheels will improve consumption and give a longer range, while wider wheels will provide better traction and handling.

The car has four regular doors and a liftgate.

There are two different roof options to select from. The standard is just a regular roof. As an option, you can order this model with a panoramic roof. The glass extends most of the roof, and occupants can open the front part. This glass makes the car’s interior feel more spacious and bright, which can improve the mood and comfort of the occupant. It has an electric curtain that occupants can use to protect against the sun.

Additionally, you can order the car with tinted windows from the B-pillar backward, which enhances privacy and reduces glare and heat from the sun, making the interior more comfortable for passengers.

The seat layout is the two seats in front and two seats in the rear.

First row seats

The Maserati GranCabrio Folgore offers a single type of front seat.

User interface and control

The Maserati GranCabrio Folgore has multiple integrated screens. Behind the steering wheel is a digital instrument cluster, and in the center console, there are two different infotainment screens. You can choose between two sound systems on the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore. With the Sonus Faber Premium Sound System, you get 14 speakers with a max system output of 860 watts. With the Sonus Faber High Premium Sound System, you get 21 speakers with a max system output of 1285 watts.

In addition, with the standard in-car navigation system, you get the help you need to find your destination. Furthermore, the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This functionality allows you to present your phone’s screen in the car’s screen so you can run apps like Google Maps or Waze.

The model has 2 USB-C connections as standard. As an option, you can get additional 2 USB-C connections.

Lights

The standard headlights use LED Matrix technology. LED Matrix is an adaptive system that splits the traditional single headlight beam into dozens of smaller rays that the light controller can turn on and off individually to un-light small areas in front.
