Fiat has already launched some electric models, such as the new Fiat 500 electric, which runs on battery power only and has a range of up to 320 km. The Fiat 500 electric is also the first car in its segment to offer level 2 autonomous driving. Fiat also presented the Centoventi concept in 2019, an electric utility vehicle that can accommodate up to four battery packs, each offering 100 km of range.

Fiat’s EV strategy is supported by the Stellantis group’s investment in battery technology and infrastructure. The group plans to offer more than 75 battery electric vehicle models and reach global annual BEV sales of 5 million units by 2030. The group also plans to secure more than 130 GWh of battery capacity by 2025 and more than 260 GWh by 2030, with five gigafactories in Europe and North America.
